Soul Retrieval is an ancient, cross-cultural shamanic tradition.
It is a ceremony where lost parts of the soul are found, offered healing,
And restored to the soul.
Soul Retrieval enhances traditional therapy and even saves lives.
What is the Human Soul?
Spirit and soul have become interchangeable words. Imagine a sparkling light in the middle of your chest. That’s spirit/consciousness. Now look in the center of the light and imagine a seed. That’s soul. When a spirit travels through the Birth Gateway to begin a human life, at the moment of conception, its unique soul-seed sprouts, grows, emerges, and begins surrounding the growing body.
We are Spirit, within Soul, within Body.
Soul emanates through the body at the heart chakra. This energetic “bubble” helps ground and support our physical survival. It also serves as a multi-layered, living library that stores memories of past experiences—from the beginning of our incarnational cycle to the present moment.
Trauma and Dissociation
It’s become common knowledge that when we experience trauma, we dissociate. Psychology calls this PTSD—post-traumatic stress disorder. But what dissociates? Shamanically speaking, a part of our soul detaches, goes to another reality, and becomes stuck in time. People can spend years in psychotherapy trying to break free from traumatic experiences. And while pharmaceutical companies offer medications to ease our pain, the problem is—soul-parts, unaware that the trauma is over, re-live it over and over again. Since we are our soul-parts, this multi-dimensional phenomenon affects us daily.
Is it possible to fully heal when pieces of ourselves are no longer home?
Missing parts create a void within the soul that fills with heavy energy. Since all soulular energy mirrors and reflects throughout its many layers—spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical—the state of a person’s soul affects their entire human experience.
A Few Symptoms of Soul Loss
Addiction, self-hatred, depression, memory loss, spaciness, anxiety, feeling like you don’t belong, illness, suicidal tendencies, insomnia… Are you easily emotionally triggered? Do you have unsettling dreams, flashbacks, or phobias?
Consider
Your innocent, joyful, five-year-old soul-part wades in a bubbling stream while singing to the deer, squirrels, and raccoons. She won’t come home to you if Daddy is still around. What happened at that age?
An eighteen-year-old soul-part is standing on the side of the road, screaming. Is that where the car accident occurred ten years ago? Are you still afraid to drive?
A tightly swaddled newborn part, forgotten, and frozen in shock, is all alone in the hospital nursery. You’re now seventy-five. Hasn’t abandonment been your foundational wound?
Marc
I met Marc in Mexico through a mutual friend. He had been a Green Beret during the Viet Nam war and returned home with severe post-traumatic stress. Mark saw countless doctors and faithfully ingested numerous prescription medications, but he rarely found relief. It didn’t matter where he was—in bed, on the beach, at the store—Marc could not get away from the war. His psychiatrist said, “You have the worst case of PTSD I have ever seen. There is nothing we can do for you.”
During Marc’s soul retrieval, I was taken to a battlefield where I witnessed an adrenalin-pumping, hyper-alert, shattered part of his soul. My Teacher said, “Gather all the pieces in a basket.” I called, “Marc. Come. Come.” When the basket was full, we took it to my healing spot and immersed the parts in the magical healing water. After a long while, a twenty-year-old Marc—vibrant, grounded, and present—emerged. Ready for life, I blew soldier Marc into his soul, where he belonged.
A few days later, Marc said that he’d slept better than he had in years. I never saw him again, but our friend told me he was home and feeling calm. Marc was finally able to leave the war behind.
Sonja
Sonja was an active woman in her late thirties with two young children. A skiing accident necessitated numerous surgeries, and she had a rod in her knee and walked with a cane. Sonja was so depressed she could barely speak. Here is a highlight from one of our healing ceremonies.
While channeling Light for Sonja, I realized she needed a soul retrieval to restore her voice. My Teacher and power animal took me to the ocean floor, where I saw brightly colored fish encircling a small, flat area. I was instructed to dig, and soon uncovered a treasure chest. My helpers brought it to the surface, and when I opened the lid, the sparkle of dazzling jewels almost blinded me! Rubies. Emeralds. Diamonds. Sapphires.
My Teacher said these treasures were a manifestation of Sonja’s voice, which had been buried since she was five. I received the riches, called for healing, and blew Sonja’s jeweled voice into her throat.
Sonja called two days after the healing wondering if it was okay that she had been speaking in a child-like voice. I suggested she pay attention to her five-year-old-self and give her adult-self a little more time for the energy of her voice to harmonize within her newly refined soulscape. Sonja regained her adult voice within a week, and from what I heard from her family, was using it quite a bit.
Let’s come home to ourselves.
Be here now, in the present moment.
Dissociation and soul loss are common themes for clients, whether physically ill, emotionally suffering, or energetically challenged. I’ve been facilitating soul retrievals for over forty years and continue to witness miracles. I’ve also received many which deeply enhanced my life.
