I honor political activists.
My activism is all about healing. Attending to issues that live within the emotional, energetic, and spiritual dimensions and eventually manifest on the physical. But political activists focus purely on the physical, which we need them to do, because this is the realm we are affected by daily.
All of that being said, I went to my first No Kings rally the other day. I wanted to participate in and understand the experience. I wanted to join the activists.
A Teaching:
Almost fifteen years ago, one of my spirit Teachers stated, “The template of the Earth must shift. For over 2000 years, her innate, energetic template—Love and Unity—has become polluted by fear and duality. A planet such as yours cannot continue to exist in the ways it has been going. Even developed ancient cultures did not last, for the need for power, control, and the desire for destruction became too great.
The energy of separation upon Earth is a feral virus. What is the cure? Look among the leaders of countries. Things will not change, because those who have power continue seeking more. As Earth reclaims her original matrix, for it to fully occur, there must be a separation of sorts."
And then he shared a difficult concept to grasp,
“Separation is a means to bring about Unity.”
Here’s an example:
If you have a country inhabited by people who have been under the authority of cruel and inhumane rulers…if those people unite, there is Unity, but they unite to rid the country of the rulers, which is separation.
But what’s beautiful is: As the energies of chaos and power-hunger continue to accelerate, simultaneously, the energies of interconnection and Unity between people expand. This creates Light, the remedy we need to cure the separation virus and help Pachamama/Mother Earth restore the template of Love and Unity.
Back to the march.
Amidst hundreds of creative, simply drawn signs such as No Kings and Don’t Let Hate Dictate our World, and angry signs with words I don’t wish to repeat, and two-fingered peace signs flashed to the dozens of cars beeping their horns in solidarity, we became a gently flowing river moving together in loving harmony. That's when I had an experience I did not expect. My heart spontaneously opened, and tears streamed down my face. There we were, separating from the leaders of our country, while at the same time, unified in our hearts and purpose. It was phenomenal to palpably feel this dichotomy.
The Q’ero, descendants of the Inka, have a word for this. It’s actually my favorite Quechua word. Yanantin. It means the union of dissimilar energies.
Unity and Separation Walk Side-by-Side.
Yanantin.
Thank you, political activists, for walking your path and organizing the rally in my town and the rallies all over the United States. It was an honor to be one of over eight-million participants.
An Overview:
Let's see through the eyes of our hearts and notice Unity and Oneness everywhere.
Everyone is Spirit, whether they remember and live this awareness or not.
All are One. There is no separation.
This is Apu Yanantin in Peru.
