Friday morning I was in pre-despacho energy. I watched the President’s news conference, something I never do, but I wanted to have a pulse on the latest “leadership” perspective. At the park with the dogs I collected bay leaves to use as kintus. Afterward I returned home and ate an early dinner. Then I was ready for the next level of preparation – making cookies. I knew I’d want something special when the ceremony was complete, and I had the chips, so………. I did it.
While they were baking I got the fire pit ready and created an altar in the living room. Candle, mesa, kintu leaves, red rose petals for Pachamama and wild, white lilies for the Apus. I had a shell for the feminine and made a cross from a stick for the masculine – as taught to me by Juan. And the prayers! I printed them, cut each into its own piece of paper, and placed the bountiful pile on the altar.
It was time. I purified with agua florida, released any heavy energy, and opened the ceremony with my mesa. I called to Pachamama, the Apus, and my “people” in the other realms. With them as witnesses and helpers, I asked to have an abundance of personal power so I could accomplish my ceremonial task – Health and Unity for Our Human Family.
I had an extraordinary experience while blowing my living energy on the shell, cross, and each red and white flower. Everyone that had contributed to the ceremony was in the room with me! I made a special kintu for each person and read their prayer out loud as if it was the only one. The energy was palpable; all breaths combined and exponentially enhanced the poetic, insightful, heartfelt, visionary prayers. When complete, I placed each kintu in the despacho with its folded prayer.
I asked Pachamama, the Apus and the Great Mystery if what I was doing was sufficient. Did I offer enough in the despacho for us to earn the right for their Ayni? (Yes, I put cookies in.) The answer was, “Of course, my dear.”
Muchisimas gracias from the bottom of my heart for sending your prayers and trusting me to perform a potent, powerful ceremony. I was inspired and sometimes overwhelmed by the purity of your hearts. You are all so beautiful, open, and vulnerable. If I ever doubt Unity, all I need to do is read your words and absorb them into my soul.
You’ve taken me to the next level of Faith and Trust during this very strange time. My gratitude overflows.
